All of our multi- dwelling properties will be maintained and kept up to standards with curb appeal and the quality of life.

VALUED MISSION

How VOL Started...

Life in New York City is an incredible experience. Like the city itself, our community is diverse, talented and exciting.

Our members hail from every borough and from every point on the "Life Valued" alternatine ed/health/social interactive spectrum--some are just starting out with young children, some recently pulled older kids out of public situations, while others have kids in public high school or college and beyond.

Belonging to VALUE OUR LIVES gives you access to a vast array of options for meeting your goals and chasing your interests as a homeschooler.

We are sure you'll find, and have found that VALUE OUR LIVES is an invaluable companion along your journey as you homeschool in New York City. Welcome to our community. We can't wait to meet you at our next event!

Currently there are over 70,000 people who are living in shelters provided by the City of New York in which are all over populated with men woman and children. There are over 300,000 people who are living with strangers, relative’s and friends simply because the shelter has turned them away due to administrative bureaucracies, over population, or have no other alternatives.  Many turn to the streets, subway underground or squatting in vacant places with little or no safeguard. Foreclosures have sent people running for their lives and away from their homes.  Through research I have found that on every block in The United States there are at least 2-4 vacant homes just sitting there rotting and collecting dust. There are many key factors why these individuals and families are homeless; the cost of living, location, incarceration, over population, hazardous conditions, unforeseen circumstances and circumstances in their lives that are jus unimaginable. Anyone one can have housing issues it varies across the board working or non-working individuals may not want the responsibilities of homeownership. However many of these individuals would lease a space to have less responsibility, low maintenance and plenty of flexibility to maneuver whenever he or she please.  Many senior citizens are left alone when their children move out and start a family of their own. Many are living in private homes and are in need of down sizing into facilities that will caterer to their needs without exhausting them financially. There are also seniors that live in apartment buildings where there isn’t an elevator accessible for them to even leave the apartment because they cannot travel up and down stairs.

VALUE OUR LIVES COLLECTIVE GLOBAL FOUNDATION INC. PROJECT PROPOSAL

Document Project Title: ESTABLISHMENT OF INTERNAL FOUNDATIONS

Implementation of a Comprehensive Support Program for the Advancement and Improvement of the Human Condition

Proponent:

VALUE OUR LIVES NEW THOUGHT FOUNDATION FOR SELF- EMPOWERMENT “VOLCGF”
200 Park Avenue, Suite 1700,
Manhattan, New York 10023

The VOLCGF is a non profit foundation for the improvement and support of the North American people. It is not affiliated with the state or federal government.
Comprehensive Support Program for the Advancement and Improvement of the Human Condition:

I. Background

It is the contention of VOLCGF that many of the socio-economic problems which currently plague individuals are a direct result of techniques utilized by its conquering powers. Social, economic, government and commerce, in their individual efforts to advance the North American experience during its formative years, has attributed in large part to the current problems that she faces. These powers have indelibly and negatively etched the psyche of North America and its people.

High unemployment, inadequate information education, lack of acceptable housing, and dependence on foreign energy and aid are examples of some of the problems facing the nation of North America today. All individuals, in their own efforts, have been attempting to heal the resulting scars and establish their present day identity. However, lack of adequate guidance or infrastructure has been a profound barrier in accomplishing such a task. Although, faced by these handicaps, VOLCGF believes that strides toward independence can be achieved through empowering the North American people, overcoming feelings of inadequacy and instilling pride in their nation and ultimately in themselves. One way to accomplish such a task is to provide access to the basic necessities of life.

The central tenet of VOLCGF has been to restore a sense of honor and self-sufficiency to the nation and its people. VOLCGF believe that this can be achieved through information education and improved standard of living. This, in turn, will encourage North Americans to think positively, produce confidence in their own abilities and instill national pride.

II. Rationale

VOLCGF believe that by restoring basic inalienable rights, dignity and self- reliance to its people, North Americans’ will be better equipped to take their place as an active, participating member in the emerging “World” market and the global economy at large. Unfortunately, the current governmental administrative and/or socio-economic condition has neither the resources nor the infrastructure in place to address these concerns, much less to solve the systemic behavior that manifests itself in the prevalent political and social unrest. It is the characteristic that has become synonymous with “Urban” to the rest of the world.

VOLCGF deem that past powers have spawned a culture that now accepts corruption and violence as a legitimate form of political change. VOLCGF further believe that it is possible through the information education of people and their leaders to remove these negative attributes from the political landscape. In turn, this will give rise to and foster a truer democracy where grievances can be addressed through peaceful democratic means. This will lead to political changes instituted by the collective will of the people, and not powerful military and pseudo-military factions.

Metro New York City, and Long Island islands, is uniquely situated as the gateway to other countries and the world, which is locally geographically desirable due to closeness in proximity to the active Wall Street players in the current economic phenomenon. As such, it is imperative, for both the well being of the country and its people, that they be prepared to take their rightful place in this economic prosperity. It should be noted that all of the city’s rich attributes, such as the abundance of financial resources and skill and talent of its populace, continue to exist. information education and improved standard of living are the only viable avenues in order to prepare the individuals to operate effectively in the 21st century. Failure to address these issues will unknowingly sanction its people to continue to squander their greatest assets and potential contributions to the world. The circle of violence with never ending internal political struggles, in which a small minority stand to benefit at the expense of society at large, has truly crippled the country. The changes discussed herein, will foster a new sense of national pride that will manifest itself in its people at all levels.

No longer will there be a constant struggle to exit the mainstream in search of a safer and more prosperous life. VOLCGF believe that a new wave of internal pride will inspire the populace to remain true to themselves and participate in its organic development., taking their rightful place among the great peoples of the world.

III. Vision and Mission
1.0 Vision
Create a better community through the implementation of VOLCGF programs. The programs are designed to empower the North American people to realize and obtain their full potential by dramatically increasing national and individual self-awareness, information education and living standards at all levels of society.

Massive initiatives to educate the North American citizen through:
* mass media campaigns;
* cultural events (concerts, plays, interactive seminars);
* dissemination of literature that promotes as its central ideals, e.g., national pride, family values, personal awareness and growth, self reliance, respect for him/herself and others, and fostering of other universally recognized positive qualities and attributes; and

* immediate initiation of scholarship programs to aid high school students that display both leadership skills and high scholastic achievement. Community based projects such as:
* construction of low-cost housing;

* installation of renewable energy sources (utilizing alternative or locally sourced fuels);
* creation of schools for elementary, secondary, and high school, and the requisite curriculum necessary to equip the North American student to succeed in the 21st century;
* community recycling/waste management;
* health care training and the construction of medical centers;
* creation of daycare centers to allow a larger portion of the citizens of working age to participate in the workforce; and
* finance community projects through micro-lending to small business owners of clean, low environmental impact businesses deemed beneficial to their respective communities.

V. Target Beneficiaries & Geographic Scope

A major goal of the VOLCGF will be to address out-of-focus youths, ages 6 to 24 years old.
The following were considered in the selection of these priority areas:

* The size of the population (most populous in terms of out-of-focus youth

(“OSF”)); and
* The level of perceived need for community development, or severity of living conditions within the community.

The current plan, therefore, would allow for the initial institution of pilot programs in the areas listed below, with plans to replicate and institute additional programs municipalities throughout the New York City area. The proposed geographic target will ensure maximum penetration and benefit. The use of a pilot program with an organized roll out schedule will allow the VOLCGF to maximize oversight efficiencies and assure consistent quality of the programs initially within the first two (2) years of its operations.

VI. Project Duration

Current projections call for the plan to be fully implemented throughout the Philippines within five (5) years of its initial launch. During the pilot program period, the VOLCGF will gauge and monitor the initiatives effectiveness, and fine tune the programs, as necessary, prior to introducing new programs throughout the remainder of the country.

VII. Socio-Economic Profile of the Target Areas

The VOLCGF will initially introduce its initiatives throughout highly populated areas of New York with high consideration given for the following:

1.0 Employment
2.0 Income
3.0 Educational/Vocational Focus
